Natural Rubber - S Grade |
| Description |
Heat resistant sheet formulated
to retain strength and elasticity at temperature up to 140°C.
Used as a vacuum diaphragm for composite moulding and for bonding laminates
where heat or autoclave pressure is necessary.
Bonding details are available from Aerovacs’ technical sales office. |
| Application |
Low cost alternative to natural rubber, where
maximum elongation is required. Latex does not offer the same
temperature resistance physical strength of natural rubber |

| Storage & handling |
|
| Temperature |
Store below 260°C and away from heaters. |
| Humidity |
Avoid damp storage conditions. |
| Light |
Protect from prolonged exposure to light,
in particular bright sunlight and strong u/v light, which will
degrade sheeting. |
| Metals |
Avoid contact with copper and copper containing
alloys, which may stain the sheeting. |
| Oils and solvents |
Avoid contact with oils, solvents and greases,
which will destroy natural rubber. |
